Salary/ Remuneration Details
Remuneration package valued at $95,691.00. This position attracts a base salary of $86,716.00, plus leave loading and employer's contribution to superannuation.
Selection Criteria
In addition to the general selection criteria and the specific criteria listed below, applicants must satisfy the teacher training and academic qualification requirements for this position. Approval to teach design and technology. Approval to teach industrial technology-timber or food technology, and engineering studies or information processes and technology. Willingness to teach information and software technology. Capacity to coordinate whole school focused learning and development priorities. Capacity to integrate technology in classroom practice. Knowledge of and commitment to Aboriginal programs and working with Aboriginal students and communities. Awareness of gender equity issues including strategies for catering girls'/boys' education.
Position Information
Tweed River High (enrolment 800 including 100 Aboriginal students), is a comprehensive Priority Schools Program initiative and part of the Tweed Learning Community. Improving student achievement through academic, cultural, sport, welfare and vocational programs is a high priority of the school. The position will involve quality teaching.
