The purpose of this blog is to build up a list of recommended books suitable for Y6. Why don't you submit a post about a favourite book! Make sure you include: title, author, short plot synopsis (This book is about....), and why it's such a good read. Give it a star rating. (Use the asterisk key *****) Your recommendations should be new posts (click 'new post'). Do notleave them as comments!

Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire. It tells a fabulous story of Harry's name getting pulled out of the Goblet of Fire to enter the Triwizard Tournament. The age limit is 17 but Harry is only 14. Four contestants are pulled out of the Goblet when there are only meant to be three. Harry's adventure is to find out who is trying to kill him. Who put his name in the Goblet of Fire? Which treacherous friend is lying in wait for him? Harry's two best friends Ron and Hermione can't work out the challenges either. The Triwizard tournament is a series of challenges that are lethal and over the past years many contestants have died. This is a heart-stopping book that makes you always want to read it. I rate it 5 stars and it is the best book I have ever read. I couldn't put it down. J.K.Rowling has written 7 fabulous Harry Potter books and has retired after making $21,000,000

I love the book 'Air Head' because it has lots of tension and I could never put it down. It's about a 16 year old girl who has a crazy adveture beyond your wildest dreams. By keeping a secret she is saving her perants. Meg Cabot has great way to write. She makes you laugh, cry and have fear. I love this book and I recommend it for you .

I like the Percy Jackson series. It has everything I like in a book. It has action, adventure and mystery.
